As ever the Goodwood Festival of Speed managed to thrill the crowds with a great display of cars and on track action. Part of the festivities was Ferrari’s special display of supercars and heritage models on the lawn of Goodwood House celebrating a special Ferrari Moment. The “Ferrari 70th Anniversary” was in full swing headed up by the 1947 125S, the first car to wear the unmistakable Ferrari badge followed closely by Maranello’s latest model, the La Ferrari Aperta.
Joining the Ferrari 125S on the famous hill climb were the FXX and FXX K; two cars from Ferrari’s XX programme which will be taking a tour of network dealers as part of an exciting display to showcase Ferrari’s incredible heritage and design throughout the 70 years. It wasn’t just the cars however that took centre stage. Driving these beautiful machines were some of the best legends in the automotive world including Derek Bell, Jackie Stewart and Dario Franchetti to name a few.
The final event of Ferrari’s Tour will be at this years Ferrari Racing Day at Silverstone on the 22nd September to 24th September where the La Ferrari Aperta will lead a parade around the British GP Circuit. Check out the dates of the Ferrari UK Tour at the end of this page.
